The Neumann KH 870 II AES67 is the flagship DSP-controlled reference studio subwoofer in the KH Series, designed for large control rooms, broadcast facilities, post-production studios, and immersive audio environments. Featuring dual 10-inch long-throw drivers, powerful DSP processing, and integrated AES67 Audio-over-IP networking, it delivers exceptional low-frequency accuracy, extended bass response, and seamless integration with modern analog and networked monitoring systems.

Performance / Features

Engineered to provide approximately twice the output capability of the KH 810 II, the KH 870 II AES67 delivers deep bass extension down to 16 Hz with exceptional precision and low distortion. Its integrated DSP provides advanced crossover management, room optimization, and flexible bass management for stereo, surround, and immersive monitoring systems up to 7.1.4.

The AES67 version supports up to 12 network audio input channels and integrates directly into modern AoIP infrastructures. It is compatible with AES67 workflows including SMPTE ST 2110, ST 2022-7 redundancy, RAVENNA, and Dante-generated AES67 streams, making it ideal for professional broadcast and production environments. The subwoofer also supports Neumann MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment for accurate room calibration.

The KH 870 II AES67 is designed for recording studios, mastering rooms, film scoring stages, broadcast control rooms, television production, post-production facilities, and Dolby Atmos or other immersive audio installations.
