Product Overview +

Overview

The Neutrik NO2-4FDW-1-A is an opticalCON DUO Advanced female chassis connector engineered for professional broadcast camera and fiber optic installations. It features a black chromium-plated D-size housing, four solder contacts, one LC-Duplex feedthrough socket, and one shell ground contact for SMPTE cable shielding, making it ideal for indoor studio camera links.

Professional Fiber Performance

Designed as a feedthrough connector, the NO2-4FDW-1-A allows a standard LC-Duplex connector to be connected directly at the rear for fast and simple installation. The front accepts either a rugged opticalCON DUO connector or a standard LC connector. The automatic sealing shutter with silicone gasket protects the optical interface from dust and dirt, while IP65 protection is achieved when mated with the appropriate SCDP-* sealing gasket. The shell ground contact provides proper grounding for SMPTE cable shielding.

Durable Professional Construction

The connector features a rugged zinc die-cast housing with black chromium plating, ceramic split sleeves for accurate optical alignment, and a Push-Pull locking mechanism rated for approximately 5,000 mating cycles. Its standard D-size front-mount design integrates easily into professional broadcast equipment, patch panels, and camera systems.
