Overview
The Neutrik NO4FDW-A is an opticalCON QUAD Advanced female chassis connector designed for professional fiber optic installations. Built in a standard D-size front-mount housing with black chromium plating, it provides a rugged 4-channel point-to-point fiber routing solution for broadcast, live production, and professional AV systems. The feed-through design allows four conventional LC connectors to be connected directly at the rear for fast and cost-effective installation.
Professional Fiber Performance
The NO4FDW-A supports four optical channels through its opticalCON QUAD interface while maintaining excellent optical performance with insertion loss below 0.5 dB per connection. An automatic laser-protected metal shutter with a two-component rubber gasket protects the optical interface from dust and contamination. When used with the SCDP-* sealing gasket, the connector achieves IP65 ingress protection in the mated condition.
Durable Professional Construction
Engineered for demanding field environments, the connector features a rugged zinc die-cast housing with black chromium plating, a secure Push-Pull locking mechanism, and a lifetime of more than 5,000 mating cycles. The standard D-size chassis enables straightforward integration into professional equipment and patch panels.
