Heavier Triaxial Camera Cable

The Percon Triax 11 Rigid is a larger triaxial camera cable for camera systems that need a heavier build. It carries video, power and communication over one cable and is listed for mobile installation in production environments, where longer runs and higher power demands make the larger cross-section a practical benefit for the installation team.

Core and Section

The core is 15 AWG silver-plated copper, solid, with a section of 1.54 mm squared. The larger conductor reduces resistance on longer camera runs, which helps keep voltage stable at the camera end. Solid construction gives a firm centre conductor that holds its position well in rigid installations and cable routes. Confirm the required length and connector type when you request a quote.

Shield and Jacket

The shield is copper-silver and copper, and the jacket is HF with an ECA rating under EN 50575. The nominal diameter is 11 mm, so the cable is noticeably heavier and larger than the Triax 8 family. The larger diameter also means the connectors and cable glands must be sized specifically for this cable. Check the specification against your project brief before placing an order.

Connector and Handling

Use connectors designed for the 11 mm triax size, and secure the cable with strain relief at the camera and at the rack end.
