Each coaxial uses a solid copper conductor with a cross-section of 0.785 mm squared, surrounded by FHDPE insulation. A combined Al-PET-Al and CuSn shield protects each coax from interference, and the design is intended to keep the five channels balanced over distance so that picture quality holds up at the far end of the run.
