Flagship Dante AV Ultra Engine with Ultra-Low Latency
The Bolin D20H is a professional, broadcast-tier hardware AV-over-IP transceiver engineered to transport visually lossless, full-bandwidth 4K Ultra HD video across standard, cost-effective 1Gbps network infrastructures. Powered by the official Audinate Dante AV Ultra™ hardware block, the D20H integrates a highly optimized, FPGA-driven implementation of the premium JPEG2000 compression codec. This advanced processing pipeline handles high-fidelity 3840 x 2160p video at 60 frames per second with full 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, ensuring flawless graphics, crystal-clear text readability, and accurate color matrices. Operating with a sub-frame codec latency of less than 10 milliseconds, the D20H is engineered for the most demanding real-time environments, including live sports broadcast setups, interactive corporate boardrooms, medical theater routing, and large-scale command and control facilities.
Configurable Transceiver Architecture and Clean HDMI Design
Built for high-stakes agility and future-proof inventory management, the D20H features a field-configurable transceiver framework. A quick firmware flash reconfigures the physical node to operate as either a dedicated network Encoder or a high-performance network Decoder. When deployed as an Encoder, it converts a local HDMI 2.0 input line into a multicast or unicast Dante AV Ultra network pipeline. When switched to Decoder mode, it unpacks incoming network assets into pristine baseband signals. Designed specifically for standard Pro AV and digital workspace setups, the rear panel interface offers a dedicated HDMI environment consisting of one HDMI 2.0 Input, one HDMI 2.0 Output, and a matching HDMI Monitor Out terminal for localized loop monitoring without processing delays.
Flawless PTP Clock Synchronization and Audio Integration
The D20H eliminates the timing mismatches, phase drift, and lip-sync calibration errors common to IP-based media distribution. By utilizing Audinate’s sub-microsecond Precision Time Protocol (PTP) clock engine, the transceiver forces strict timing synchronization between video and audio streams across thousands of connected network points. The device maintains instant compatibility out of the box with over 4,000 existing Dante-enabled audio solutions. Production engineers can utilize the familiar Dante Controller Software interface to independently route, break away, or subscribe video and audio channels without requiring complex external audio embedders, de-embedders, or auxiliary hardware delay blocks.
Pro AV Command, Interactive KVM, and Clean Installation
On the integration layer, the D20H offers an expansive operational feature set designed to simplify complex system deployments. The transceiver features integrated USB-HID extension ports, allowing operators to execute seamless keyboard-video-mouse (KVM) controls, manage remote servers, or drive interactive touchscreens across the local network. It supports intelligent EDID handshake management to protect source resolutions, includes automatic output scaling options, and provides IR-over-IP pass-through alongside an RS-422 serial terminal. This connectivity lets users bridge traditional VISCA PTZ camera joystick controllers via Dante Serial-Over-IP loops. Fully NDAA compliant, the D20H features a compact, high-efficiency cooling enclosure powered cleanly by standard network switches over high-power PoE++ drops or via an optional 12VDC backup loop.
