Professional SDI Audio De-Embedding

The S-4609 is a compact and portable SDI audio de-embedder designed for professional broadcast and AV workflows. It extracts embedded audio from 3G/HD/SD-SDI signals, making it ideal for audio monitoring and distribution applications.

Flexible Input & Output Options

The unit features a single SDI input with dual reclocked SDI loop outputs, ensuring signal integrity while distributing video signals. It also provides both digital AES/EBU and balanced analog audio outputs for versatile connectivity.

Selectable Audio Channel Extraction

Users can de-embed any 2-channel audio from the first 8 embedded SDI audio channels. The front panel includes 6 switches for precise channel selection, offering flexibility for various audio configurations.

Dual Audio Output Support

The S-4609 supports both AES/EBU digital audio output and 6.35mm balanced analog audio outputs. When both are connected, AES/EBU output is prioritized for professional audio applications.

LED Status Indicators

Three LED indicators provide clear monitoring of power status, SDI input detection, and audio de-embedding output, ensuring easy operation and troubleshooting.

Flexible Power Options

The device supports a DC input range of 6–18V via pole-tap connection. It includes an AC-DC adapter and can also be powered by external battery sources for field use.

Durable & Installation-Ready Design

Built with a unibody aluminum alloy housing, the S-4609 ensures durability in demanding environments. It also includes a 1/4-inch mounting thread and installation plate for secure setup.
