Product Overview +
Professional VR & AR Tracking Pedestal for Next-Generation Studios
The SEEDER S30PT50VR is an elite, studio-grade virtual reality and augmented reality (VR/AR) camera tracking pedestal system designed for virtual soundstages, green screen environments, and live event production. Engineered to eliminate complex external tracking arrays, this all-in-one system combines a physical pneumatic pedestal, a heavy-duty hydraulic fluid head, and an internal multi-axis tracking processor. Meticulously engineered using advanced CNC processing, it delivers rock-solid physical camera support alongside high-precision positional telemetry, making it an ideal choice for modern real-time virtual broadcast environments.
23-Bit Absolute Position Free-D Telemetry Output
At the operational core of the S30PT50VR are its integrated 23-bit absolute value encoders that track seven axes of movement ($X, Y, Z$ pedestal position, Pan, Tilt, Zoom, and Focus). This system outputs standard Free-D data with a high resolution of 8,300,000 parts per 360°, ensuring virtual graphic engines like Unreal Engine and Brainstorm mirror real-world camera adjustments without drift. The system connects seamlessly to Canon and Fujinon broadcast lenses to extract internal lens data directly. Dual-channel output via hardware RS422 and network-directional UDP ethernet streams ensures drop-free communication with render engines.
Advanced Calibration Control with Databox5 Processing
The tracking system is managed by the integrated Databox5 signal data processor, featuring a responsive touch screen for quick parameter changes. It offers sub-frame tuning with 0.1-frame accuracy delay adjustments for tracking and lens metadata, keeping graphics perfectly in sync with the video feed. The Databox5 also includes virtual error-based tracking data compensation calibration, axis data inversion (Pan/Tilt/Zoom/Focus), and supports adjustable jib lengths for crane configurations. Equipped with external genlock synchronization input and loop-out with PAL/NTSC switching, it prevents data misalignment during live broadcasts.
Robust Studio Footprint for Demanding Broadcast Rigs
Beyond its digital tracking features, the S30PT50VR serves as a heavy-duty studio platform supporting payloads from 6kg up to 30kg on an industry-standard 100mm bowl mount. The pneumatic column offers smooth height adjustments from 1000mm up to a maximum extension of 1640mm. The fluid head features 10 levels of horizontal and vertical drag adjustment and a 16x2 counterbalance system for balanced camera handling. For easy studio reconfiguration, the system includes a tracking dolly with individual wheel brakes and a trajectory lock system, keeping physical camera moves smooth and repeatable.
