Features & Specifications
Product Overview +
Stype Follower is a scalable real-time motion capture and tracking system for cameras, physical objects and on-screen talent. It is designed for broadcast, film, AR, XR and virtual production workflows that need multiple tracked elements inside one coordinated environment.
One Tracking System for Cameras, Objects and Talent
Follower uses a network of infrared witness cameras and uniquely identifiable beacons to track position and orientation in real time, reducing the need to align several independent tracking systems on the same production.
Scalable Multi-Object Tracking
A Follower installation can use four or more infrared cameras and support up to 1,000 uniquely identified beacons, enabling complex scenes with tracked presenters, props and multiple production cameras.
Camera Tracking with Spyder
Compact Spyder modules attach to studio cameras to provide camera position, orientation and lens-data tracking, allowing Follower to operate as both a motion-capture platform and a multi-camera tracking solution.
Interactive and Skeleton Tracking Workflows
Follower Pen and MiniBeacon support direct interaction with augmented-reality elements, while Follower Suit extends the platform to full-body skeleton tracking. The system integrates with major engines including StypeLand, Unreal Engine, Vizrt, Unity, Brainstorm and Ross.
