Stype StypeKit is a mechanical camera tracking add-on that converts traditional camera cranes into tracked systems for augmented reality, virtual studios and virtual production.

Bolt-On Mechanical Crane Tracking

StypeKit attaches sensors to key crane pivot points without requiring permanent modification of the crane. This makes the system practical for owned or rented cranes and for productions that move between different crane platforms.

Automatic Aiming and Focusing

Automatic aiming and focusing functions can control the crane head while the operator moves the arm, supporting dynamic tracked shots while maintaining the desired target in frame.

Broadcast Lens and Data Integration

Tracking data can be output through Ethernet UDP or serial RS-422. StypeKit supports Canon and Fujinon digital lens interfaces and can work with other lenses through external encoders.

Virtual Production Engine Compatibility

The platform supports FreeD and Stype tracking protocols and integrates with major real-time production engines including StypeLand, Unreal Engine, Vizrt, Pixotope and other broadcast graphics systems.
