Professional Lever Keypanel for Intercom Control

The VI-PNLB-12L 1RU Rackmount 12-Key Lever Keypanel is a high-density intercom user station designed for professional broadcast and communication environments. Part of the V‑Series IrisX Keypanels, it provides intuitive lever controls and high-visibility displays for managing communication channels, IFB feeds, and system functions.

Clear Visual Feedback and Control

Each keyset includes a 10-character color display, a visual volume bar, and multi-color tally indicators that display the current state of assigned communication functions. These visual indicators help operators quickly monitor active channels, talk/listen assignments, and system activity during live productions.

Flexible Local Connectivity

The panel supports a wide range of audio connection options including 4-pin, 5-pin, or 7-pin headset connections, a gooseneck microphone, and built-in loudspeaker for hands-free communication. Rear panel connections also provide additional audio inputs and outputs, hot mic output, a second headset port, and GPIO interfaces for external control devices.

Network and System Integration

The keypanel connects to its host intercom system through LAN, WAN, or internet networks using AES67 audio networking. It can also connect locally with low latency or directly to compatible matrix hardware such as the Eclipse HX Digital Matrix System using dedicated interface ports. Dual network ports allow support for redundant network configurations to maintain reliable communication.

Advanced Intercom Features

When used with an Eclipse HX system, the VI-PNLB-12L supports advanced capabilities including key stacking, shift pages, expansion panels, IFB control, and programmable talk and listen assignments. A built-in DSP mixer enables adjustable routing, filtering, and audio dynamics, providing operators with precise control over incoming and outgoing audio.
