Viz Connect Tetra, is an ultra-compact live production workstation designed to connect, convert, and transport professional video and audio anywhere in the world using a simple network or internet connection. It brings together SDI, NDI, NDI Bridge, and HTML5 graphics into a single desktop unit, enabling powerful local, remote, and cloud-based production workflows without the need for additional hardware.

Built for modern broadcast, ProAV, and remote production environments, Vizrt Tetra acts as a flexible bridge between baseband and IP workflows. It allows content creators, broadcasters, and system integrators to seamlessly move signals next door or across continents while maintaining broadcast-grade quality and control.

Multi-Channel 4K and HD Connectivity

Vizrt Tetra supports up to one UHD 4K channel or up to four Full HD 1080p input and output channels using NDI High Bandwidth. Its four 12G or 3G SDI connections can be configured independently or paired as key and fill channels, making it ideal for cameras, graphics systems, and monitoring applications. This flexibility allows Tetra to adapt easily to both small and complex production setups.

NDI Bridge for Remote and Cloud Production

NDI Bridge is preinstalled on Vizrt Tetra, enabling secure and efficient transport of video over public or private networks without extra hardware. Join and Local modes allow productions to span studios, venues, and remote locations while maintaining reliable connectivity. This makes Vizrt Tetra especially valuable for distributed production, contribution feeds, and cloud-based workflows.

Integrated Viz Flowics HTML5 Graphics

Vizrt Tetra natively supports Viz Flowics, allowing HTML5-based graphics to be ingested and deployed directly into IP or SDI workflows. Graphics can be output as fill only or as key and fill, enabling clean integration with baseband broadcast systems. This makes Tetra a compact yet powerful graphics gateway for live production, sports, and corporate broadcasting.

Advanced Audio Routing and Processing

With support for up to 16 by 16 audio routing, Vizrt Tetra provides deep flexibility for managing embedded audio across all channels. Audio can be reshuffled per channel, making it ideal for applications such as sports commentary, multilingual translation, and professional AV presentations. Embedded SDI audio and native NDI audio networking are supported, with optional integration for Dante and ASIO via compatible third-party drivers.

Production Tools and Monitoring

Vizrt Tetra includes the same production features found across the Viz Connect family. These include multiviewer support, processing amplifiers, audio embedding, waveform and vectorscope monitoring, and timecode support. These tools allow operators to manage, monitor, and fine-tune signals directly within the device, reducing reliance on external equipment.

Compact Design with Flexible Installation

Designed as a portable desktop workstation, Vizrt Tetra can be deployed vertically or horizontally and is light enough for mobile production scenarios. A rack kit is available to mount up to two units side by side, making it suitable for fixed installations in broadcast racks or OB environments while retaining its compact footprint.
