The Bolin Range All-Weather 4K60 PTZ Camera is a high-performance robotic imaging platform designed to go where standard remote cameras cannot safely operate. Encased in a highly durable, IP65-rated weatherproof chassis, this robust tracking system delivers reliable performance under punishing exterior elements, working seamlessly across extreme climates ranging from -40°C to +60°C. Equipped with a hidden, integrated lens mechanical wiper and a protective sun shade, the camera prevents water droplet blur and extreme lens glare from degrading capture quality. This makes it an ideal solution for live sports stadiums, open-air concert venues, remote touring setups, and demanding mobile production units.
Advanced 4-Axis PTZR Architecture and Stabilization
Diverging from traditional remote configurations, the Range implements a high-precision, brushless 4-axis motor architecture that drives pan, tilt, zoom, and an expansive 270° roll-axis rotation. This unique roll capability enables instant horizon leveling, creative Dutch-angle shots, and native vertical video alignment without requiring physical camera re-rigging. The robotic drive shifts up to an ultra-fast 300° per second preset speed with a 200ms acceleration trigger. To protect production feeds from heavy structural movement or wind gusts, a 3-axis gyro image stabilizer combines with Zero Deviation Positioning (ZDP) logic, instantly restoring original frames if the camera head is bumped or physically displaced.
Next-Generation Sony STARVIS 2 Optical Array
Built around a 1/1.8-inch Sony STARVIS 2 CMOS sensor paired with a flexible 25x high-resolution optical zoom lens, the Range captures sweeping landscape wide-shots and highly detailed remote close-ups with absolute edge-to-edge clarity. It renders native 3840x2160 video at 60 frames per second, combining advanced ISP exposure processing with an elite low-light sensitivity engine to produce balanced, natural color curves inside dark theaters, auditoriums, and dimly lit venues. To maintain sharp tracking focus during high-speed movement, an integrated Time-of-Flight (ToF) laser sensor calculates depth data in real time, delivering fast autofocus acquisition.
Hybrid Streaming and Synchronized Broadcast Connectivity
The base connection array of the Range features simultaneous multi-stream capability to handle both traditional baseband hardware setups and modern AV-over-IP workflows. Engineers can cleanly route uncompressed 12G-SDI, HDMI 2.0, and plug-and-play USB-C (UVC) outputs while simultaneously streaming low-latency NDI HX3, SRT, RTSP, and RTMP pipelines over a 1Gb LAN network with PoE++ support. Decentralized remote configurations can leverage the built-in NDI Embedded Bridge for secure wide-area network (WAN) routing or deploy via integrated Wi-Fi connections. The base serves as a structural heat sink for extended runtime safety, integrating a live LED setup screen, timecode alignment sync, balanced mini-XLR phantom-powered audio blocks, an auxiliary 12V DC external device power tap, local MicroSD recording backup slots, and full NDAA compliance.
