The Bolin EXU230H Low Light Professional Outdoor PTZ Camera is a high-performance, ruggedized remote imaging system purpose-built to deliver broadcast-quality video across unpredictable outdoor landscapes. Shielded in an IP67-rated weatherproof housing, this resilient robotic camera features an internal heating and defogging system that preserves steady operation in extreme environments ranging from –40 °C to 60 °C. To survive deployment along coastlines, marine decks, and industrial areas, the chassis is treated with a professional salt-resistant protective coating. With structural wind-load durability designed to withstand velocities up to 60 m/s without internal degradation, the EXU230H provides non-stop operation for sports stadiums, observation towers, and critical remote event broadcasting.
Low-Light Sensor Array and Precision Stabilization
At the optical center of the EXU230H is a 1/1.8-type Sony STARVIS 2 CMOS sensor paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-high-resolution lens assembly and an advanced Sony ISP. This hardware core delivers incredible light sensitivity, capturing clear, color-accurate, and low-noise Full HD images at up to 1080p60 even in near-pitch-black environments. Featuring a deep 30x optical zoom lens, the camera covers sweeping wide angles (58.1° HOV) and tight telephoto compositions with ease. To ensure image clarity at extreme focal distances, the camera employs Super Image Stabilization Plus technology, an advanced gyro-based system that actively cancels out structural micro-vibrations, high wind load buffeting, or ground-level movement.
Virtual Set Tracking and Phase Synchronization
Built for modern interactive broadcast workflows, the EXU230H features integrated support for the industry-standard FreeD tracking protocol. This feature allows the camera to continuously output ultra-low latency, three-dimensional telemetry across all pan, tilt, zoom, and focus steps, enabling production teams to align real-time physical video feeds with virtual reality (VR) sets and augmented reality (AR) graphics. For complex live television environments, a dedicated BNC Genlock reference input provides strict frame-accurate synchronization. This allows engineers to perfectly lock phase timing across multi-camera setups, eliminating switching glitches and video jitter at the master video switcher.
Simultaneous Distribution and Embedded AV Streaming
The rear connectivity plate of the EXU230H offers multi-interface output versatility, supporting concurrent routing over physical hardware baseband and modern AV-over-IP networks. Broadcast systems can pull true dual-outputs via twin 3G-SDI ports, a native HDMI interface, and a dedicated SFP Optical SDI slot designed for long-distance fiber runs. Its network tracking pipeline features an onboard SoC HEVC software encoder, delivering low-bandwidth, low-latency 1080p60 video streams across standard 1Gb network architectures via SRT, RTSP, RTMP, and ONVIF protocols. Operating safely on a PoE++ infrastructure drop, the camera embeds high-quality balanced XLR broadcast audio through a secure, waterproof 10-pin LEMO breakout connection. It is fully NDAA compliant, includes an integrated on-screen character generator, features a built-in transport handle, and allows for simple, remote firmware updates via IP.
