The FOR-A HVS-6000 and HVS-6000M are broadcast-grade 4K/HD video switchers designed for modern studio, OB truck, and live event production environments. Delivering native 12G-SDI single-link handling across all inputs and outputs, the series enables seamless 4K UHD operation with the exact operational simplicity of traditional HD setups. Available in a 12RU frame (HVS-6000) supporting up to 80 inputs/32 outputs or 64 inputs/48 outputs, or a space-saving 7RU frame (HVS-6000M) supporting up to 32 inputs/24 outputs, it provides scalable performance for high-density signal matrixes.

Advanced Signal Processing & Format Conversion

Built to handle complex multi-format signals, every input features built-in frame synchronization and still store capabilities. The system supports full HD-to-4K upconversion across all inputs as well as 4K-to-HD downconversion on all AUX outputs via optional software processing, ensuring full compatibility with legacy HD feeds and monitoring equipment. Additionally, the chassis architecture anticipates modern media-over-IP requirements with planned IP I/O expansion capability across its module slots.

Flexible Multi-Effects & Control Customization

Equipped with up to 3 M/Es featuring split M/E capability and 4 keyers per M/E (expandable to include up to 4 DSKs on the HVS-6000), operators gain maximum creative control for multi-layered visual productions. The HVS-6000 series integrates effortlessly with a wide selection of FOR-A control panels—including the HVS-2120ROU, HVS-2240OUA, HVS-3320OU, and custom HVS-3355OU—allowing tailored control setups for high-pressure live production workflows.
