The FOR-A MFR-3100EX is a versatile 4RU routing switcher designed to consolidate signal routing, video switching, multi-viewing, and IP streaming into a single, space-saving frame. Standard routing configurations accommodate up to 64 inputs and 72 outputs, with auto-signal detection for 3G/HD/SD-SDI, DVB-ASI, MADI, AES/EBU, and analog audio. Its compact form factor makes it an ideal solution for live event production, studio master control backup, streaming facilities, and OB trucks where physical space and setup time are limited.

1 M/E Production Switcher & IP Workflows

By adding the MFR-31VP option, the MFR-3100EX expands into a full 20-input / 14-output 1 M/E production switcher with 4 DSK keyers, chroma key compositing, macro execution, and transitions on AUX outputs (providing 3 M/E equivalent capability). With the MFR-31VPS and MFR-31DNT software and hardware expansion modules, the system integrates seamlessly into IP infrastructures—supporting low-latency NDI® High Bandwidth/HX2 video input and output, 64 channels of Dante® audio, and direct RTMP/RTMPS/SRT streaming to platforms like YouTube and Facebook.

Onboard SSD Storage, Multi-Viewer & Redundancy

Equipped with an internal 960GB SSD, the MFR-3100EX provides up to 4 channels of concurrent video recording, instant playback, and still image display over SDI or IP networks. System monitoring is made easy with browser-based multi-viewer displays and optional MFR-16MV cards supporting 16-split windows. Built for continuous service, the system supports optional CPU, network, and power supply redundancy, while front-accessible hardware components ensure easy maintainability.
