Clear-Com Debuts New Arcadia Central Station

As part of their commitment to the next generation of theater and live performance professionals, Clear-Com will be present in full force, exhibiting on Booth #217 at the USITT Conference & Stage Expo from March 2 - 5 in Baltimore, MD. The company’s presence will include robust on-booth demo sessions of the new Arcadia™ Central Station, integrated with FreeSpeak II® Digital Wireless Intercom and the FreeSpeak Edge® Digital Wireless Intercom - the award-winning Agent-IC Mobile Intercom App will also be on the booth. In addition to a presence on the show floor, Clear-Com is resuming their ongoing sponsorship of the Stage Manager Award, presented this year to Sarah Bauch.

“We’re thrilled to be coming back to this show in person! We value USITT’s emphasis on educating the next generation of industry professionals, and Arcadia is perfectly aligned with the show’s entertainment design and technology audience,” commented Senior Regional Sales Manager, Jay Wallace, who has spearheaded Clear-Com’s presence at the show over the years.

The Arcadia Central Station is a next-generation scalable IP platform that integrates wired and wireless partyline systems - on the booth, it will be integrated with both FreeSpeak II (1.9 GHz and 2.4 GHz) and FreeSpeak Edge (5 GHz). With a mixture of 2-wire and 4-wire audio ports, the single rack unit device serves as the centerpiece of a system that includes Clear-Com endpoints along with third-party Dante and AES67 AoIP devices.

Arcadia is the latest in Intercom Technology for Live Events and Theater Production.

Designed with input from Clear-Com’s extensive global live sound user base, Arcadia represents the next evolution in partyline workflows, combining digital, analog and AoIP intercom technologies into a single integrated system Arcadia represents the future of partyline workflows ideally suited for live events of varying sizes and complexities.

Also on the booth will be the Agent-IC mobile app. The app turns smartphones, tablets and wearable devices into fully-featured intercom panels with connectivity over WiFi, 3G, 4G, and LTE networks and is ideally suited for scenarios when key intercom users are required to be away from the core intercom system.
